The Effect of Self-efficacy of Dental Hygienists and Nurse``s Aides on Job Satisfaction, Organizational Commitment and Turnover Intention

Abstract

|
This study analyzed factors influencing job satisfaction including business welfare, relationships between colleagues, organizational commitment and turnover intention. The study polled 200 dental hygienists and nurse``s aides in order to determine to their self-efficacy. The results were as follows: First, the study showed a strong correlation between self-efficacy and relationships with colleagues, it also showed a much weaker correlation between self-efficacy and business welfare. Second, it showed that traits of are most evident in persons their thirties (M=3.97), and the recognitive factors were relatively high for people in the thirties and the forties. Third, it showed that the satisfaction of business welfare had a significantly negative effect on the turnover intention. The turnover intention decreases along with satisfaction of business-related welfare services. Fourth, it showed that the factors of self-efficacy had a considerably positive effect on the satisfaction of relationships between colleagues. It maintains that complementary relationships between colleagues within a clinic through a processing or solvable power of business creates a satisfactory human relations in an organizational atmosphere. Fifth, it showed that the motive and recognitive factors of self-efficacy had significantly positive effect on organizational commitment, Adapting to a business through a processing or solvable power of business, is also high in the organizational commitment of various job-related parts.
